She started it with her dad (who doesn't know how to sew), and finished it yesterday with the assistance of my friend who's visiting from Toronto. It's all hand-sewn.
She may be some sort of dressmaking savant. Note the plunging back:

She wants to wear it to school. I said she could, provided she wears something underneath it. It's VERY revealing.
